Is my unique deposit address permanent?

Yes.

Protocol (Unit-generated "deposit" and "withdrawal") addresses are generated by the Guardian Network, and are permanently tied to their corresponding destination address.

  1. Alice has a Hyperliquid wallet 0x1234...9876 , and wants to deposit BTC.
  2. The Unit protocol generates a deposit address for Alice: bc1q...ukhe This address is permanently and uniquely tied to Alice's HL address 0x1234...9876
  3. Any and all future transfers made to Alice's deposit address will be credited to 0x1234...9876 on Hyperliquid.
  4. If Alice begins to use a different account on Hyperliquid 0x6789...4321 , she must generate a new unique deposit address for this account.

The same is true for withdrawals, and withdrawal addresses.
